Steel undercarrage frame members seem straight. Axles seem straight and the hubs seem good. Front and rear bumbers bent but are simple "c" channel material. All four wheels are scrap and only good for moving car. All brake rigging is in place but will need to be straightened, reworked or otherwise duplicated. FOR SALE (Jun 29, 2008) California - MT-19 Clutch Rods - The two most fragile parts on an MT-19 speeder are the rear axle and the clutch rod. Each year broken clutch rods account for many, many delays on excursions. And it's so easy to carry a spare! The clutch rods that I have for sale were built by the CN for their own speeders. I can only guess that they needed a lot of them and were tired of paying Fairmont's prices. The answer....they made their own. They come complete with clevis and pin. I bought these from the railroad several years ago and am passing them on to you for $20.00 each plus $6.00 shipping.

SOLD! (Jun 29, 2008) California - Turntable Safety Switch - These limit switches, made by Micro-Switch Corp, were used by Fairmont on their MT-19's & 14's and wired to a loud audible device to indicate that the turntable was not fully retracted. In addition they also can be wired to a green light to indicate that the turntable is up and in a safe lock position. These are the exact replacement for the original and are NOS having been removed from other new, unused electro-mechanical equipment. Priced at $25.00 each plus $6.95 shipping.

The car was the former B&M “Tunnel Rat” that served much of its life in the Hoosac Tunnel in western Massachusetts. You won't find a better car available for the money. An M19 open car with roof, expertly restored with over a three year period. You will look long and hard for a car like this. Professionally rebuilt ROC Engine and carburetor. All fenders have been professionally restored; new floor panels, very good wheels, new belt, new tow bar, battery, new alternator, fire extinguisher, new seats and aluminum lift handles. It has been on numerously runs in Canada, New England and all over the East Coast. Body painted with PPG’s CONCEPT® Acrylic Urethane premium paint, their highest quality and with appropriate decaling, all new brakes and all new glass and gaskets. FOR SALE (May 22, 2008) Illinois - Motor car rack for pickup truck transport - Tired of hauling that trailer ? This might be just the thing for you. Back in 1987 Mark Mayfield ( of MCCA fame) had made a rack that will fit a full size pickup truck bed (Mark had a Ford , I used it in a GMC) You bolt it to the floor of the bed (just behind the cab , on the wheel wells, and by the tailgate. The ramp portion is detachable. I used a hand winch (no longer with the rack)to bring up and down my M T 19 with no problems on many a trip. The rack was used on mid 80's trucks , I assume modern trucks are about the same size. See photos there is a gauge bar at the bottom of the ramp so no spreading of the "rail". If you have any questions please call. Note there is an old photo of the rack on a truck with motor car .. the only thing for sale is the rack no truck no motor car Thank you price 300.00 a bit big for UPS but in pieces it could be placed on a pallet for your shipper to pick up.
