Red Spring & Northern Work Day
Return to Gallery Index
It was a hot, hot August day when we set on at Lumber Bridge to clear brush from the line. Present were Carey Boney, John and Jennifer Cease and Jim Tweedy. At the last minute, Jennifer Lang and Pete Wenk Showed up. We later took a break at Red Springs as Susan Cease and Janet Tweedy showed up with a great picnic lunch.

Jim's cuttin' ... Jennifer's draggin'!

Jennifer's thinking ... "Gwad, it's hot!!"

John's on the phone making executive decisions.

Jennifer Lang's over her head.

Jim's on his way to the bushes.

That A4's looking good. Now who are those two ugly guys?

Pete and Jennifer's MT14 is looking good as well

Swamp View - There's Alligators in there.

Other side of the Bridge

With record rainfall, the creeks are full

Jim creates a flangeway at the dirt "Chicken Factory" road.

All of the worker bees look on.

Jim and Pete help Carey get his powerful belt driven car through.

Thanks to Phil Gandy, the line was recently sprayed. Obviously, it was effective.
